Along with the Gregorian calendar, we also follow the Hebraic calendar, which contains the original timing that was followed in biblical times. Here, you can learn about the current month and gain an understanding of its significance in your everyday life.
UNDERSTANDING THE HEBRAIC MONTHS
We are in the year 5781
IN THE DECADE OF PEY!

The number for 80 is Pey. Pey is also a Hebrew word that means ‘mouth.’ So every year in this decade is a ‘pey’ year. Many ‘pey’ words are related to the mouth. (note: when we say ‘pey’ words it means words with ‘pey’ as a root word) ‘Pey’ words include: word, expression, vocalization, speech, and breath, as well as face. We are transitioning from Ayin (the 5770’s) which means ‘to see’ into a season ‘to speak.’ It’s a season to understand the power of the spoken word and understand that every word God speaks has power. ( Ps 107, Mt 8:8, Gen 1). When you speak God’s words His words still have power!

This is a season to make faith declarations/ declare what God has said over key situations (Jer 1– God tells Jeremiah that when His word is declared, He is watching to quickly fulfill it! He teaches Jeremiah to walk with Kingdom Authority. ‘Now I have put My words in your mouth.’ God told him to uproot, tear down, destroy, overthrow, build, plant. This chapter is what we can stand on this year)

  • As you speak God’s decrees, your words will change history.

  • Principalities will be uprooted,

  • power structures will be torn down,

  • institutions will be destroyed,

  • Human rulers will be will be overthrown,

  • God’s Kingdom will be built up,

  • and God’s purposes will be established!

  • It is a year to seek God’s face

  • Its a year to take up your authority

  • To declare what God has said

  • To change nations through prayer and intercession

  • A Year to prosper

  • A year to stand with israel

  • a year to be delivered

  • a year of Holy Spirit Visitation and Miracles

  • It’s time to breakthrough into NEW ERA!

When you declare what God is saying, atmospheres change. God is calling the church to do this. God didn’t create the church to be a cozy fellowship group, a place to sing some nice songs, and just as a place to go when there’s nothing else to do. The NT word for church is Ecclesia. It was a legislative body, it established boundaries, it makes decrees and changes laws! When the church functions in its original purpose and decrees what God says, THINGS CHANGE! It is a Biblical principle. (Lam 3:37-38) If you speak your word, it can fall to the ground and nothing will happen. But when you speak His word, IT WILL HAPPEN.

  • It is the year and decade of the mouth! So set a guard on your mouth. Don’t give in to unbelief, don’t murmur and complain. Instead, be careful to DECLARE what God has said! Claim His promises, THANK HIM by faith that He will do what HE SAID. By doing this you manifest God’s rule in the earth.

Num 6:23-27 This tells HOW God wants to bless us. The Lord bless you and keep you; (to bless you means to cause you to increase. to keep yu is to protect you from harm) the Lord make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you the Lord turn His

25 The Lord make His face shine on you, (the type of shine when you see someone you love, your face brightens, it means He is SO HAPPY to see you! God loves you so much, you make His face light up! (Zeph 3:17)

And be gracious to you; ( He wants to shower you with grace!)

26 The Lord lift up His countenance on you, (judgment means he turns His face away from you. He isn’t paying attention to you or listening to your requests. (Hos 5:15) f you feel God is hiding His face from you there’s a solution! Seek His face! He promises that if you seek Him with all of your heart you will find Him. If you humble yourself, repent, and seek Him He WILL turn His face back to you! That’s His promise! And then He gives you shalom! (2 Chron 7) )

And give you shalom.’ ( Shalom means wholeness, wellbeing, health, prosperity, and peace! Safe in mind, body. and possessions. Complete and lacking nothing. When His face shines upon you, there is NOTHING He will withhold!)

  • ‘Pey’ is a time to seek God’s face. Make a CONSCIOUS CHOICE to seek God. Make being close to Him a goal! (Jer 29:12-13, James 4:8)

  • When we turn our face to God, He turns His face to us! Then His face shines on us and He showers us with favor! He wants to relate to us Face to face.

  • Pey is a key year for PRAYER and INTERCESSION (both hebrew words have ‘pey’ as the root.) Your intercession can change nations. He’s calling you to intercession because the world is in a mess.

  • Other words that have ‘Pey’ as a root is EARTHQUAKE: be alert for natural disasters. REFUGEE: it is a worldwide crisis that we must intercede for. REVOLT/ REBELLION: pray for the nations that are in turmoil and be alert. Other ‘pey’ words are; stumble, dash in pieces, to be in perplexity, to break, crush, scatter, to be startled by sudden alarm, to be in fear, destruction, and ruin.

  • It’s important to move from ‘Ayin’ (to see) to ‘Pey.’ In this decade it is not enough to see, it’s time to decree! We need to move from vision to Kingdom Authority. It’s time to speak God’s prophetic decrees into the atmosphere. It’s time to CHANGE WORLD EVENTS through intercession and prayer. That means YOU!

  • Other ‘pey’ words are : FRUITFUL, INCREASE, PURE REFINED GOLD.

  • It is a year God wants to prosper you! Move forward in faith, claim God’s promises, and watch what He will do!

  • It is important to pray for Israel.

  • Understanding the prophetic season your in will help you as you intercede and pray.

Nations that are ‘pey’ words are: Ethiopia (has a long and unique relationship with the Jews), Persia/ Iran (continues to work toward getting an atomic bomb and their threat is to use it on Israel), Philistine/ Palestinians (we will always be in war with the philistines, they have always been set against Israel. God wants to bless them but He can’t do it as long as they are trying to destroy Israel), Pharaoh/ Egyptian ruler (the pharaoh spirit is still at work, even in other nations.) Israel’s enemies are set against her, but the good news is : DELIVERANCE is a ‘pey’ word,

  • It is a year of deliverance from your enemies!

  • It is a season of Holy Spirit! “‘Pey’ also means to blow or to puff, especially in kindling a fire. Let Holy Spirit kindle FRESH FIRE in YOU! Recieve His fire! ‘Pey’ words also include the words for ‘ a miracle’ and ‘ a wonderous thing.’ Its a year of signs, wonders, and miracles! It also includes words for visitation and to visit. Expect visitations from Holy Spirit this year!
